CONGRATULATIONS ORLA
Orla Molloy, a 5th class student won first prize in the County Museum Competition for a project on history of a local area. The competition was based on an archaeology investigation scene. The project was sponsored by the N.R.A. (National Roads Authority). Each entrant investigated a landmark in their local area, researched it and presented the information in project form.
Orla chose Rath Graveyard, Glebe , Grangebellew for her project. She researched the history of the graveyard and the ringfort nearby and did all the site studies.Orla presented her project both in hard copy and also on a power point display set to music.
Orla won first prize and revieved a state of the art Canon camera for herself and a laptop and projector for her school.
